This piece was part of Travel Manitoba’s Content Marketing Program, which I developed in 2015. Our small team would come up with custom content ideas for our clients/partners. We would then craft the original content and deliver it on our channels to the right audiences. This particular piece was for Calm Air. The airline is not prominently featured in the content, instead, I wanted the piece to be more emotional, give a sense at what it feels like to journey to a remote location.
Greetings, friends. Welcome to the Great White North, where paradise is not considered a tropical island loaded with loud people (can you say overrated?). Instead, it is a place where the land is so remote and quiet you could hear an owl’s feather drop. From wolves howling off in the distance to the surprising sounds of the northern lights as they dance above you, from the snort of a polar bear as it gets a whiff of your scent from a tundra vehicle to the minuscule splash of water as the line of your reel starts to dip. Oh, this is the Canada of your dreams. You want glorious, strong and free? You got it here. And Calm Air will get you there. READ FULL PIECE HERE
