This campaign got a bunch of mentions in Manitoba. It was hard to keep track. I found articles in the Winnipeg Sun, Metro News, Interlake Spectator, and The Reminder. CBC Manitoba: Polar Bear Week with Drake’s Hotline Bling
Had no idea CBC Manitoba did an article about my killer polar bear Drake moves. Found this article over a year after I donned the suit.
The tourism agency posted eight video mashups of songs – including Drake’s Hotline Bling, which features a mascot dancing in slow motion to the lyrics, “You use to call me on your seal phone.” All week the agency has been posting polar-bear content, including first-hand accounts of getting up close and personal with the bears, quotes from the tundra, a shark-polar bear comparison, local polar bear artwork and events planned across the province.
